Rialto is a storage unit and bookcase by Cassina, originally designed by Carlo Scarpa in the 1970s for his own home and later redesigned for Gavina, who adapted it for mass production. The elements of Rialto, which is designed as an organization and storage system that can be adapted to different spaces and living requirements, can be arranged together using a spacer that becomes an iconic element of the bookcase's structure. Cassina's Rialto is available in an open version, with semi-open elements or complete with doors, in ash, matt lacquer or transparent tempered glass.
