The Red and Blue chair is a cult design piece created by Gerrit T. Rietveld in 1918 and reissued by Cassina. One of the variations of the iconic 1918 model is the one designed for teacher Wichr Zeilmaker. The frame is made of black-stained beech with contrasting white parts. The seat and backrest are made of green lacquered plywood. The armchair can be combined with a single seat and back cushion in fabric or leather.
