Cassina Delfi Table
Delfi is the table reissued by Cassina as part of the Ultrarazionale collection launched in 1968, consisting of sculptural pieces created by Carlo Scarpa with extreme attention to detail, workmanship, and material selection. The table is a redesign of a rationalist model created by Marcel Bauer in the 1930s for Dino Gavina's home in Bologna. At the end of the 1960s, Scarpa began to reevaluate the original design, making some changes in consultation with the author. Later, in 2009, Tobia Scarpa proposed a new variant with a glass top that revealed the refined brass supports and the grooves in the marble bases, highlighting the elegance of the forms.
