LAGO launches its first outdoor collection
LAGO launches its first collection conceived exclusively for outdoor use. In perfect harmony with the outdoors, Lago’s design comes to life in the open air through some of the brand’s iconic products.

The new Outdoor Collection by LAGO

LAGO brings its iconic design language—characterized by lightness and transparency—beyond the confines of interior design: the first collection designed exclusively for the outdoors is born. This marks a strategic move for the Venetian company, which is expanding its furniture offering to include outdoor spaces. LAGO’s designs engage with the landscape and outdoor architecture through some of the brand’s most celebrated projects.

The new outdoor collection was created with a specific goal: to integrate design into outdoor spaces in a natural and harmonious way. LAGO’s outdoor furniture blends in discreetly, almost organically merging with the space it inhabits. A distinctive feature of the collection is the use of iconic glass legs: the floating effect created by their transparency intertwines with natural light, lightening the volumes and accentuating their architectural simplicity. The collection reinterprets a selection of iconic LAGO pieces and revolves around the concept of the Air series: the Air table, the Mezz’aria chair—also available as an armchair—and the Air sofa, complemented by coordinating side tables and a collection of rugs designed to complete outdoor spaces with aesthetic and textural continuity.

Each product has been reimagined in terms of form, materials, and technical solutions, giving rise to new designs that preserve LAGO’s identity while meeting the demands of outdoor environments.

The Air Outdoor table retains the iconic suspended tabletop on glass legs, introducing a teak top composed of 8 cm-thick slats spaced apart to facilitate water drainage. This solution reinterprets the material character of the original table with a design technique tailored for outdoor performance. Alongside this version, thin tops with new organic or contoured shapes are also available, crafted from high-performance materials such as ceramic stoneware, polished glass, and XGlass.

- The Mezz’aria Outdoor chair features a stainless steel frame and is available in several versions: woven with decorative technical cord, with a shell created via 3D printing using a special wood-based composite, or upholstered with a waterproof, quick-drying system.

- The Air Stone sofa, on the other hand, is a completely new design. Its soft, organic bases evoke water-smoothed stones and are designed to allow rainwater to run off naturally. The bases, suspended on glass legs, support freestanding backrests that can be positioned as desired, offering great compositional freedom and a fluid relationship with the outdoor space. An integrated lighting system beneath the bases emphasizes the sofa’s sense of suspension and helps create evocative atmospheres in the evening hours.

Every element of the collection has been developed to maintain high technical performance for outdoor environments: stainless steel, natural teak, high-performance ceramic materials, technical fabrics, and construction systems designed to ensure strength, durability, and ease of maintenance.

The result is a comprehensive collection that preserves LAGO’s design identity while simultaneously opening a new dimension of living for the company: a space where design, nature, and architecture coexist seamlessly, shaping a new outdoor experience for the LAGO world.
