Davide Groppi Vera Table Lamp

Vera is the new table lamp by Davide Groppi, unveiled during Milan Design Week 2026. True to the brand’s minimalist and understated style, Vera is a luminous casket that houses a glowing heart suspended in space, revealed only when the lamp is turned on. When off, it remains nothing more than a clear glass shell.

With Vera, Davide Groppi explores the themes of perception and illusion, achieving this through a meticulous combination of materials and technology. Externally, we see a celebration of pure geometries, where the borosilicate glass cone houses a cylindrical aluminum base. Inside, a sophisticated optical system works through refraction, simultaneously generating direct, indirect, and diffused light.

The reflector—mirrored on top and made of opaque white polycarbonate on the bottom—provides precise, comfortable light that does not overwhelm the space it occupies. The light intensity is adjustable via a dimmer built into the base, allowing you to switch from a soft glow to a more vibrant light.
