Antella is Cassina's console table that can be converted into an elliptical table when needed. Designed by Kazuhide Takahama, Antella features a structure and top entirely coated in polyester with a glossy or matte finish, paying homage to the ancient tradition of lacquering that is also featured in other products from the early 1970s SimonCollection, such as the Bramante series. The two elliptical half-tops and hinged elements, held together by a magnet, allow the structure to be folded or extended depending on the available space. The piece can be used against a wall or fully opened to obtain a wider support base.
Antella is a space-saving piece with a strong aesthetic character, which can be positioned against a wall or opened up completely to become a practical and striking dining table.
