LC16 is the desk designed by Le Corbusier in 1957 as a passe-partout wooden piece of furniture for children's rooms at the Unités d'Habitation in Nantes-Rezé. Reissued by Cassina, LC16 is the ideal solution for residential and contract environments. The structure is in natural oak combined with a top in the same finish or, as in the original design, with a glossy red lacquered top.
Together with the LC16 Bureau model, Cassina presents a storage unit with an open compartment equipped with fixed shelves, also available in a version designed for electrification, in the name of functionality.
The LC16 Bureau desk bears the collection logo, Le Corbusier's signature, and the serial number corresponding to its identity card: elements that attest to the authenticity of the product.
