Woodline is the armchair that Marzo Zanuso designed in 1949 for the international design competition at MoMA in New York, the result of research based on the possibility of anchoring a seating element to a wooden supporting structure. In 1964, the project was revisited to utilize Arflex's cutting-edge technology. With its rigorous aesthetics, Woodline has a wooden structure based on a circle-shaped matrix, which gives the seat an elegantly formal look. Cassina's reissue has retained Zanuso's original design and enriched it with a wide range of upholstery options.
