Among the most important technical features of Granite 60 there are: - the use of metal halide light sources that create four light beams projected through the fissures on the sides; - the structure is in Corten steel, a material that stands out for its high corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength; - the protective glass of the bulb is soda lime. Before stabilisation, the corten may release rust powder, that may stain the surfaces on which it is placed. Therefore, Artemide recommends not to place it on delicate surfaces, such as light-coloured stones, marbles etc. The colour of the corten steel may change in time, depending on the weather conditions and exposure to sunlight. After 16/24 months the colour becomes stable and takes on a "tobacco" hue. Maintenance: the product received a treatment that reduces, but does not eliminate, the release of rust powder. This treatment should be repeated by the customer, if necessary, until the oxide is stable: apply the beeswax usually used on wood with a soft cloth.
Granito 60 by Artemide is a lamp with a unique design that, thanks to the special external structure in Corten, creates a magical atmosphere, as if suspended in mid-air. Granite 60 plays with the light, which almost becomes a colour from a palette, used to "paint" outdoor environments. Also suitable for indoor lighting, this lamp shows its best features in outdoor areas where it is able to withstand atmospheric agents.
